At the moment I'm reading R. Ogilvie Crombies' (Roc) gorgeous book, The Gentleman and the Faun. A like-minded friend had just finished reading the book and suggested that I read it too so she lent me her copy. I have a deep connection with nature and the Elemental spirits who live there so this book feels like it was written for me :) It talks about Roc's first encounter with a faun in Botanic Garden Edinburgh, a precursor to his meeting with the God Pan himself. Roc goes on to meet elves, fairies and other Elementals as he travels throughout Scotland and ends up working in the Findhorn Community. What I love about this book is the conversations Roc has with the Elementals; it confirms many things I already felt to be true and also teaches the reader new information about the nature spirits, their realms and why they want to work with humans. A fulfilling read, I recommend it to anyone who has a interest in Elemental beings or want to expand their knowledge on the subject.
